I don't know if you were informed of this, but the retail disc of GTA 4 has loading and frame rate problems.
Was the inclusion of a broken camera,lo and behold, they did include one.
I really do think that Team Ninja should have a patch cooking right about now, because they just lost a potential customer in me,and I know at least 2 other people that aren't going to buy it now due to the problematic camera.
In the 9s on the majority of sites, once I saw IGN hadn't given it a 9,I knew something was up.
Likewise, still gonna play it,though my former 'buy it' decision has turned into a 'rent it' decision.
I honestly do not understand why such articles are even created in the first place, jeezus
"xboxkings.com" ?Who do they think they're fooling?
*Sigh*,the camera issues appear to be real and more than evident during game play.
My biggest issue with NG isn't the FrameRate,no,it's the Camera.
In games such as GTA4,the frame rate dipping isn't such a big issue as you can still pull off the core game play mechanics, which are;jacking a Car and driving it,shooting, and running away. But in a game like NG where timing and execution are absolutely critical to your success, you can see why hiccups and stutters during the heart of the action are a big big problem here.
Like I said,hopefully the FrameRa...
I'm waiting for the reviews from Edge,Game Informer,GamePro,and GameTrailers.
This should be an interesting week yes indeed
The general complaints thus far seem to be:
-Camera
-FrameRate
-Story
Hopefully the FrameRate problems aren't persistent throughout the entire game,i.e Only occur in very specific and uncommon situations.
Though,it should be noted they gave The Club a 9 as well.
Still,a great score.
To bring up the Ps3 and fanboyism in this Xbox 360 article : |
I'll be honest;I really expected this game to score higher.
Anyways, both GamesRadar and IGN are saying the Camera hasn't been fixed. This is a MAJOR turnoff for me,considering the primary reason I stopped playing NG1 was due to the disappointing Camera.
And this ^ ,is exactly what I was afraid of.
Looks like it will be a rental for me.
From Sigma?See attached pics and decide for yourself.
Still doesn't change the fact that a product that was significantly marketed towards gamers has just been dropped from the biggest Video game and gamer electronics retailer in the country.
It's more than obvious their scores are fueled by Ad money and Exclusives, but unlike IGN,they go a step further and inject their silly bias in the games they review.
They underscored and over-scored too many games at this point, with the majority of Nintendo and Sony games falling to the former.
Watch as they try and pull a 7.5 with MGS4.
I had a feeling GameSpots review was yet another underscoring review.
Will register tonight!
Why can't I just use this account over there???
So I should recommend my Mom this Board, only for it to tell her she's Fat(while she isn't)and have her come after me?
No thanks lol I want to live
